Our Signature Framework
Our signature framework is a systems-based model designed to strengthen district coherence, leadership effectiveness, instructional support, and organizational accountability.
The 7 Keys of Outcome Focused Leadership™
Over the course of her 30+ year career, Iranetta Wright developed the 7 Keys of Outcome Focused Leadership™, an action research-based framework informed by real-world leadership experience, district transformation work, observational research, and continuous implementation across multiple educational settings.
The framework was created to address one central question:
“What leadership conditions must exist for students to consistently succeed?”
The result is a systems-based model designed to strengthen district coherence, leadership effectiveness, instructional support, and organizational accountability.
Authentic Assessment - allows for acknowledgement of what has gone well.
More pronounced in a case where change is needed, it illuminates what has
and has not gone well.
Build a Strong Team - Improvement requires collaboration, skilled leadership, and a balance of support and accountability to drive better outcomes.
Power of Planning - Understand and use data to set clear goals, build leaders' capacity for analysis, and align resources with what is realistically achievable.
Quality Implementation - Focused leadership sets the pace for the team by defining excellence, aligning classroom practices, establishing tiered supports, and creating shared expectations for results.
Measuring Results - Assess comfort with data discussions, build shared understanding of terms, and use data to identify what works and what doesn't.
Celebrate or Regroup - Track progress with quick measures, compare results to goals, and celebrate small successes to make larger goals more attainable.
Trust the Process - Having confidence and commitment to the steps that lead to the goal.

The Research Behind Our Work
Our theoretical approach is grounded in the research of Richard Elmore and his theory of the Instructional Core. According to Elmore, the relationship between these three components is what drives educational success. By focusing on high-quality curriculum, professional development for teachers, and engaging students in the learning process, leaders can directly influence and improve student outcomes
Elmore’s research emphasizes that student achievement improves through strengthening the relationship between: Teachers, Students, and Content
At The Wright Way Leadership Group, we operationalize these principles through our Outcome Focused Leadership model.
The formula is simple:
High-Quality Curriculum + High Quality Professional Development + High Student Engagement = Improved Student Outcomes
