Scholarship Opportunities

The following scholarship opportunities and available for 2026 High School Graduates that meet the criteria

Black Male Scholars

Eligibility 

  • Be a Black male graduating high school senior in the Class of 2026

  • Have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA

  • Be accepted to and planning to attend a four year accredited college or university

    •   Plan to enroll full time beginning Fall 2026

Renewal 

  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 college GPA

  • Remain enrolled full time

    •   Submit a brief annual progress update

Application Requirements

  • Completed scholarship application

  • High school transcript verifying GPA

  • One letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach, or community leader

  • ​Personal statement

  • Personal essay - (250 to 500 words)

    • Essay Prompt:

  • Describe the experiences, influences, or motivations that have shaped your decision to pursue higher education. How do you plan to use your education to make a meaningful impact in your community and beyond?

  • Application Deadline - April 30, 2026

  • Scholarship Recipient -Announced May 2026

SRW Service Scholarship

Eligibility 

  • Must be a graduating high school senior  from Raines High School in the Class of 2026

  • Have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA

  • Be accepted to and planning to attend Florida A&M University 

    •   Plan to become a Teacher or a Social Worker 

Renewal 

  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 college GPA

  • Remain enrolled full time

    •   Submit a brief annual progress update

Application Requirements

  • Completed scholarship application

  • High school transcript verifying GPA

  • One letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, coach, or community leader

  • Personal statement 

  • Personal essay - (250 to 500 words)

    • Essay Prompt:

  • What has guided your commitment to pursuing higher education in education or social work, and how do you plan to use your career to positively impact individuals, families, and communities?
